Fourteen-year presidency will leave legacy of higher selectivity, distinctive academic programs, national recognition and financial strength (April 25, 2008) - University of the Pacific President Donald V. DeRosa, who has led dramatic improvements at the University in quality and selectivity of the student body, academic distinctiveness, national visibility and financial strength, will retire on June 30, 2009, after fourteen years as President, announced Dr. Dianne Philibosian, chair of the University’s Board of Regents.
