Last week Pacific had the honor of hosting David Dobbs, an award-winning science writer, give a series of lectures. These events were put on by Pacific’s Center for Teaching and Learning.
This year the Pacifican will be hosting the second annual BEST OF PACIFIC awards, in the final issue of the Spring 2008 semester. “Best” in this case can be defined as favorite, or most vital. How will we decide what is best if you don’t vote?! Please fill out the survey and return it to us via Facebook. We need your input!!! (All names in entries can be anonymous)
Pacific has always prided itself on offering students a unique five-year undergraduate engineering program.
(April 25, 2008) - University of the Pacific President Donald V. DeRosa, who has led dramatic improvements at the University in quality and selectivity of the student body, academic distinctiveness, national visibility and financial strength, will retire on June 30, 2009, after fourteen years as President, announced Dr. Dianne Philibosian, chair of the University’s Board of Regents.
On Friday, April 4 in the Grace Covell Banquet Hall, RHA held its annual formal event, the Masquerade Ball, from 8:00 p.m. to midnight. Guests disguised themselves with glamorous dresses, suits, and elegant and stylish masks.
