KPAC: Fest of the Best PDF Print E-mail

ImageOn Sunday, November 4, many students attended KPAC's Fest of the Best. THe first annual Halloween celebration was located on WPC lawn from 3pm to 9pm. There was a wide variety of shows and booths. A student car show was a popular activity where students could vote on sweet rides and bikes. Pacific junior Mike Hall took home first place for his motorcycle.

"Fest of the Best was really cool, especially with the competitions. I voted for Mike Hall's bike. It was the best by far," said junior Dave Platow.

There was also an art show featuring the talents of many students. Winners of every competition received some type of prize. Prizes differed from money to recieving exposure on KPAC of association with KPAC's affiliates. While all of these competitions were exciting to visit and vote on, there was also live music.

ImageThe event was great advertisement for KPAC. There was a large turnout considering it was only the first annual Fest of the Best. Hopefully more students will get involved each year. "It [Fest of the Best] was great, but if more students attended or participated in the competitions it could have been even better," said junior Sarah Fountain.

In any case, the Fest of the Best was a good time and a great showcase of Pacific's wide range of artistic students.
