Pacific Hosts Chinese Delegates PDF Print E-mail
By: Courtnee Coburn - Staff Writer

For the past few weeks, the Center for Professional and Continuing Education has been hosting a delegation of real estate officials from Shanghai, China in an effort to provide instruction on real estate practices and processes in the United States.

The first training session was held on campus. Other presentations were held in the Bay Area, Los Angeles, and the east coast.

The real estate system is taught by presenters with a wide range of professional backgrounds.

There were presenters from Discovery Group, Washington Mutual, Cort Companies, Coldwell BankerGrupe, and Roseville law firm, Inman Thomas, LLP.

The training is executed through field studies. Since Stockton is the foreclosure epicenter, it provides a real learning opportunity for the delegates as well, not to mention understanding of the recent improvements to Stockton’s downtown areas.

This entire program is a great way to build the emergent relationship between Pacific and the Stockton community.
