Hello and Thank You,

This has been an interesting and busy year. Lots of changes, lots of growing up, both for myself and for this publication. Some of you reading this may still feel that The Pacifican has a long way to go, and I won’t argue, but I will stand by the fact that we have come a long long way.

Since I write and edit for News, I don’t often get to write liberally, so in the light of this opportunity there are a few people I would like to thank, and a few things I would like to say.

First I want to say THANK YOU to Jenn Hite-Smith. I have always tried to be at her side, but I will never take the credit for keeping this paper alive. Without her dedication, time, and hard work this paper would be gone. Jenn, thank you for your hard work. Let me know one day why I have to spell your name with two n’s now, and have an amazing time in Egypt. We’ll miss you.

Second, I would like to say that I love my co-workers. Mikey, Shane, Marcel, Tina, Josh, Dan, Caiti, Richmond, Nick, Joe and last but not least Scott, you are all such cool people. Each of you is completely unlike anyone I have ever met. I have said it before and I will say it again, the best people at this school- work for The Pacifican.

In regards to next year I want to say, Marcel, it won’t be the same without you. Who will give me hugs? And who will cover the controversial stories that everyone else is afraid to talk about? I really am rather sad that I only got to know you this year. I’ll see you in MB! haha And don’t forget, no one can take YOU down.

Shane, thanks for not leaving and for “having a personality”. Mikey, it looks like it’s you and me next year! Nick, your word is gold. Scott, you impressed me. Tina, I’ll see you on the third floor!

Final thank yous: Dr. Ray for his advising and understanding, The University for my pay check.... we’ll make back the money one day, and Chris, thank you for moving over at 5 am.

	Great article but I felt as if the writer was yelling this article at me and if she had used a kind and melo tone in a time of emotion, i would have quickly understood the true beauty of this article The writer other works have been amazing but her embarassing yells in this here article almost woke up half the school and the point was lost and no meaning accept negative thoughts became the article where in fact the article had a great point but its deleivry murdered the point. Other than that it was an amazing article + = Guest
