The Greek Festival was held at St. Basil Greek Orthodox Church this past weekend from September 8th to September 10th. Admission was only $2 or free with a $20 food ticket.
There were tons of different types of food like gyros, Greek sausages, deep fried calamari, and an area to get a full Greek meal. Their desserts were also delicious; folks could get donut-like desserts or buy a box of pastries to take home.
Pricing of the food was also pretty inexpensive as most food varied from $4-$8.
There were good frappes, wine and beer along with live Greek dancing and music. There were also plenty of chairs and tables so people could sit and eat their food while listening to music or watching people dance. Not only was there food and drink but jewelry, clothing, paintings and books were on sale.
There was a little something for everyone to enjoy. Organizers of the event encourage people who missed this year’s event to attend next year; they emphasize the many types of food available. Views: 236
