This past Saturday, there were dodge balls flying everywhere on the WPC lawn and hunky men wooing the crowd. The ladies of Kappa Alpha Theta hosted their event “Theta Inferno,” and had nothing but smiling faces leaving their event throughout the day.
In the previous years, Kappa Alpha Theta had hosted their infamous Midnight Mania. However this year they celebrated the success of their new charity event “Theta Inferno,” which raised over $1,700 for the children of CASA, or Court Appointed Special Advocates. “Theta Inferno” consisted of a dodge ball tournament and Mr. CASAnova pageant, where both men and women of University of the Pacific participated.
Starting the day off at 11am on the WPC lawn, teams gathered for their first game. Understanding that they had to win best two out of three games or they would go home, fraternities, sororities and students dressed to impress and played hard until 2pm.
Followed by the dodge ball tournament, seven savvy men flattered the crowd for the Mr. CASAnova pageant. They were judged on their built bodies and Theta spirit for the beachwear section, how much talent they had, and the flattery of the judges for the question portion. Theta looks forward to hosting “Theta Inferno” for many years to come. They invite everyone and encourage more to come back for more exciting years to dodge, duck, dip, dive, and dodge! Views: 400
