The Colts’ MVP Rex Grossman did the exact opposite of my prediction, enshrining himself as the worst quarterback in Super Bowl history.

You have to be happy for Tony Dungy winning the Super Bowl knowing the tragedy he faces everyday in losing a son.

Will the real Pacific basketball team please stand up? This season looks to be the season of two different teams. Hopefully the right team shows up in Anaheim. Nice win on the road against Irvine only to get blown out by Long Beach.

The women ballers held off Long Beach to win their second conference game. Freshmen Jake Kelly had 21 points and Jerise Freeman had a 15 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Tigers last Saturday.

The Men’s volleyball team upset 10th ranked Long Beach with ease setting up a show down with premier powerhouse UCLA, Friday the 9th.

The life of a teenage prodigy OJ Mayo took a surreal turn when Mayo was ejected in a game and slightly made contact with the referee that threw him out. Mike Lazo did his best Vlade impersonation as Mayo was questioning the call. Lazo’s flop was ridiculous and a sign that the world has lost its mind.

The women’s swim team defeated UC Santa Barbara to improve to 6-1 while the men’s team had a setback losing to the Gauchos.

Pitchers Hunter Carnevale, Curtis Pasma, and Jake Wild combined in a 12-0 shutout win over Cal State Northridge. The victory was the first for the Tigers in this brand new season. Carnevale, who is only a freshman, tossed six innings, recording his first win in a promising career for Pacific.

The Warriors have taken a bitter fall on their six game road trip losing three of four so far. Two of those losses, the Charlotte Bobcats and Atlanta Hawks.

Irresponsible drinking does not pay off. Kings coach Eric Mussleman received a two game suspension for his DUI. That is minor compared to the story of USC kicker Mario Danelo who had 0.23 blood alcohol level when he fell of a cliff and passed away.

Have Super Bowl commercials gone more lame with every passing year or am I just turning into a responsible drunk?
